To celebrate Fall (or perhaps even kickstart the game's Thanksgiving celebration), FarmVille has received the new Harvest Hoedown building. This one can be most easily compared to Count Duckula's Castle, in that you'll be able to place this themed barn on one of your farms, and then level it up by collecting more and more of various building ingredients. There are seven levels in all, but apparently only the first six are available as of this writing.
The first level of the Harvest Hoedown (that is, taking the building from a frame to an actual completed structure) requires five each of three building materials:
Bowls of Punch
Bowls of Snacks
Buckets of Paint
These items are earned, as usual, through a variety of ways, the most prevalent of which is to simply ask your friends to send them to you. You can also purchase each individual item for 1 Farm Cash each, send them to friends from the game's Free Gifts tab, or use Farm Cash in bulk to finish the entire project in just a couple of clicks.
As you level up your Harvest Hoedown building, you'll need to collect more and more items for each stage.
Level 2: 8 of each
Level 3: 10 of each
Level 4: 15 of each
Level 5: 25 of each
Level 6: 50 of each
Once you make it to this point, your Harvest Hoedown barn will be an extravagant item, with a taller roof line, trees, lights, and even a sound system accompanying it. You'll use the building to claim Scrap Lumber, which will be used shortly in the upcoming Bonfire Basket collection feature. You can also harvest your neighbors' Harvest Hoedown barns for extra Scrap Lumber as well.
